Danny Baggish has marked his debut on the
European Tour at the
German Darts Grand Prix by seeing off Thomas Junghans.
It wasn’t a pretty affair from either with Baggish averaging 78 but his slightly better doubling percentage proved key with 25 compared to 18.2% from Junghans.
While similarly, it was a scrappy affair between Keane Barry and Lukas Wenig with the UK Open semi-finalist sealing a 6-4 win with a high checkout of 126 en route for Dynamite.
It was time to go Double Dutch in the other tie as Jeffrey de Zwaan sealed an important victory over Vincent van der Voort on his return to the big stage.
De Zwaan took out 98 on the decider on double 19 producing a 95 average, four 180’s and 42% on the doubles as he moved through to Day Two in Munich.
