De Zwaan sets firm future ambitions: "Within five years I want to reach a World Championship final"

Jeffrey de Zwaan ever since emerging onto the scene has been seen as potentially reaching the top of the sport at some point. 'The Black Cobra' as a result has very clear ambitions.

In a poll from RTL 7darts , people were asked whether De Zwaan would reach a World Championship final in future. No less than 55% answered yes to that question. "That's pretty neat, I honestly didn't expect such a high percentage," said De Zwaan.

"As far as I am concerned, it is 100% certain. Within five years I want to reach a World Championship final," he added.

In the same conversation, the former World Matchplay semi-finalist indicated that he had a shoulder injury which was alluded to earlier this week. “I'm eagerly waiting for the result. I'm afraid it's a splint of the bone that presses against the muscle. I hope I get good news soon. ”
