Kevin Doets has added a second Development Tour title to his collection with the Dutch prospect seeing off a returning Mike van Duivenbode in the final in Event Three.
Doets who has also won two Challenge Tours including the second event this season has done the exact same on the Development Tour winning one event in Barnsley and one now in Niedernhausen in 2020 and 2021.
In the latter stages, he saw off Gian van Veen (4-0) with a 98 average, Youri Brouwer with a 98 average in a 5-3 win, Bradly Roes 5-2 before finally seeing off his compatriot 5-4.
The tour is open to players between the ages of 16 and 23, provided they are not in the top-32 of the regular world ranking on January 4, 2021 and it is split between UK and European due to Coronavirus.
The Development Tour ranking is based on the prize money won. At the end of the season, the winners of both rankings (European and British Development Tour) will receive an invitation to the upcoming Grand Slam of Darts, the World Darts Championship and a Tour Card for 2022 and 2023.
