Glen Durrant will go into his table topping Premier League tie with Michael van Gerwen on Wednesday night looking to continue his unbeaten record against the World Number One.

Durrant started the Premier League restart with a draw against Peter Wright and at the end of the game, he was glad to claim a point but despite it being perceived as his main area of strength, he admitted work is needed on his finishing.
"My first reflection at the end of the game is that it wasn't a good point because I felt I was in charge of the match. But listen I'm playing the World Champion, he's a phenomenal player. I guess would I have took 6-6 beforehand, maybe," said Durrant to Online Darts post match.
The new flights are going well but the strength in my game is my doubling. My scoring was good, I just need to work on a little bit of finishing now."
"When the World Champion is on a finish, you've got to expect the chance that you're not coming back but that hurt. If I would have lost 7-5 that would have been a really tough night but I'm up and running."
On his clash with Van Gerwen, he has said he believes there is a lack of respect there despite it being pointed out that Mighty Mike spoke highly of him in his post match interview.
"I feel good going into one of my biggest nights of my life. He doesn't show me an awful lot of respect. He's the best player in the world but I really want to beat him."
