Evans claims A Night At The Darts Group One on leg difference despite defeat to Warburton

David Evans has claimed the first group win of the week in A Night At The Darts - despite losing his final game to Mike Warburton.

Evans was pushed all the way though tonight by debutant Kyle McKinstry who put the pressure on with a 5-2 win over Martin Adams with a 160 checkout en route.

Despite that though 'Stretch' only needed two legs against the former World Masters semi-finalist and got them in the end despite going onto lose to the Welshman.

This means the excellent form continues for Evans who saw off Martin Adams (5-2), Kyle McKinstry (5-2) and Fallon Sherrock (5-2).

Sherrock herself produced one of the performances of the night as she produced a comeback to see off Martin 'Wolfie' Adams in a 5-4 win sealing it with an 11-darter. 'The Queen of the Palace' played well all evening and will hope to build on that despite the results not particularly going her way in the end.

A Night At The Darts is a competition that runs in conjunction with the Icons of Darts League. Each playing week consists of six players. There are five players on each matchday with one player taking a rest.

Each evening like the day consists of four matches for each player with the player with the most wins claiming the group win.
