Evans tops Icons of Darts League at halfway point with three straight wins

Evans defeated Wessel Nijman 4-1 to start the day with a brilliant standard from both players but it was 'Stretch' who edged it with a 102 average compared to 103 and two ton-plus checkouts.

He followed that up with a 4-0 whitewash win over Arron Monk where he missed double 12 for a nine-dart finish and maintained his perfect start with a 4-1 win over Adam Huckvale where his average sat at 101.

Second is Wessel Nijman who is on two wins and two defeats so far. He whitewashed Adam Huckvale 4-0 with a 103.6 average and then defeated Arron Monk 4-2 despite defeats to David Evans and also Paul Nicholson who started his day solidly with a 95 average and three 180's.

Most players barring Arron Monk and Adam Huckvale have not played four games with debutant Darryl Fitton, Paul Nicholson and Scott Mitchell having played once so far.

All players are now visible as well on the stream with the new method trialled in the MODUS Champions Series being used this time around so viewers can now see them throwing as well as where it lands on the board similar to the Darts from Home charity matches have.
