"For the rest I don't really have a favourite": Van Gerwen names close friend Van der Voort as favourite player

As part of a question and answer session on the PDC Darts Twitter account, Michael van Gerwen was asked who his favourite dart player was.
"#AskMVG Who is your favourite player on the tour?" Asked one Twitter user with the Dutchman replying in a video posted.
"Of course my mate, Vincent van der Voort," replies van Gerwen with little doubt in his mind. "For the rest I don't really have a favourite player. I just like when you have a good game with quick players. Most of the time that creates the best games."

- I completely agree with Vincent's comments on "whistlegate". It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd. No whistling during throws, and something like: whistlers evicted and fined a hefty sum.
