In 2001, John 'Boy' Walton claimed victory in the BDO World Championship but now his life is seemingly a lot different as he now works at a Co-Op supermarket in Sheffield.
BBC presenter Dan Walker ran into Walton where he works and he took a photo with him pretending to throw a dart. "What a treat to bump into 2001 darts World Champion John 'Boy' Walton at our local @coop_food in Sheffield," Walker tweeted.
"Lovely chat in the home baking and canned fish aisle."
Walton as well as becoming World Champion was also the winner in the British Classic and British Open that year after previously winning the Winmau World Masters a year earlier.
In 2018, the 58-year-old ended his career but made his comeback in the Remote Darts League which took place last month. Alas, he only claimed two draws and seven losses, so finished last.
