Wednesday night the final participants for the PDC Europe Super League were announced. Paul Krohne, Markus Kessler, Andree Welge and Arno Merk managed to secure a last-minute starting spot for the PDC Europe Super League.
Through this, 24 German darters have a chance to participate in the
World Darts Championship. On Tuesday, Dominik Gruellich and Michael Kloenhammer managed to get through the qualifying tournament. Four more winners joined them on Wednesday.
Krohne won the third qualifying tournament on Wednesday, while Kessler won the fourth qualifier. Through the rankings, Welge and Merk also managed to qualify for the final tournament. Welge is the most famous added competitor to the field. The German competed once at Lakeside in the past and played five times at the PDC World Darts Championship.
The PDC Europe Super League will take place from November 7 to 10. Among others, Max Hopp, Dragutin Horvat, Rene Eidams, Lukas Wenig, Liam Maendl-Lawrance, Nico Kurz, Daniel Klose and Pascal Rupprecht are also among the participants.
