"Full credit to Krzysztof. He was fantastic" - Bunting full of class in defeat after Euro Tour heartbreak

Stephen Bunting made it to the final of the German Darts Open on Sunday night, although 'The Bullet' went down 8-3 in the final against Krzysztof Ratajski.

Bunting showed himself as a classy loser afterwards. "Full credit to Krzysztof. He was fantastic. I threw everything at him, I gave it my all, but congratulations to Krzysztof, he was the deserved winner," said Bunting in his post-match interview with the PDC.

Bunting played with new darts for the first time this weekend and it's fair to say the early signs are good. "To make a European Tour final on my first outing with my new darts, I'm chuffed to bits," says the 38-year-old.

"The crowd got me through a few games this weekend," Bunting concludes. "The support has been absolutely phenomenal, and I can't wait to come back to Germany and play in front of this wonderful crowd again.”
