Gerwyn Price surprisingly tops alternative world ranking based solely on form

Christopher Kempf who works for the PDC compiling data and statistics has calculated who has statistically performed the best over the last 200 legs played including last weekend's International Darts Open in Riesa and it gleams a surprising leader in Gerwyn Price.

Price achieved an average clocking of 100.87 during his last 200 legs. He was also accurate on doubling in particular with a percentage of 42.45%. This makes Price the only player also to average over 100 on average. Gary Anderson who has been in superb form apart from a shoulder injury is second with an average of 99.52 and 41.84% on his doubles.

The top three is completed by Luke Humphries, the reigning World Champion averaged 98.97 during the last 200 legs. In addition, he pinned 42.73% on his doubles. Nobody did better on their doubling. Michael van Gerwen for instance performed only in the top 10 only just with an average of 96.77 and 38.59% on his doubles.
