Gerwyn Price transforms pharmacy in his hometown into Fish and Chips restaurant

Gerwyn Price is also building a business empire in addition to his darts career. 'The Iceman' has been granted permission to open a takeaway restaurant in his hometown of Markham.

The restaurant will be built where the local pharmacy used to be located. Daily Star reports that Price will expand the current building by increasing its height and add a staff room so that employees will also have their own space.

Price previously owned his own cafe, but that business was not doing so well. The Sun wrote in December 2023 that Price planned to close the cafe and build a flat on that site.

The 38-year-old has always left the door open for retiring from darts earlier than expected to focus on his business ventures off the oche.

He will continue his Premier League campaign in Exeter on Thursday, where he currently sits in sixth place, before heading to Minehead for the UK Open on Friday.
