Gurney set to shave hair for charity before Champions League of Darts in October

Daryl Gurney is set to shave his hair for charity ahead of the Champions League of Darts which is set to take place at the Morningside Arena in Leicester in October, it has been revealed.
He will do so if he reaches £10,000 in donations with the money set to go to a Cystic Fibrosis charity. This affected Gurney's best friend Aaron McMenamin who passed away in 2017 with 'Superchin' wearing a gold necklace with his face on it when he plays in memory of him.
Also for those who donate, they will all be put into a draw to win a signed shirt from all 8 players competing in the event in Leicester. He added that there is more information on the way for those who wish to donate to this great cause.

- As prize money increases each year and there are now more tournaments then logically breaking the £2 million barrier is going to happen, only thing preventing it is the now deeper strength in depth of the darting field. If you took Taylor’s best two consecutive years and substituted the prize money from now onto the tournaments he won he would have passed the £2 million.Mysstree26-11-2024
