Deta Hedman claimed her spot at this year's
PDC World Darts Championship this past weekend by coming second in the PDC
Women's Series.
Hedman will be the sixth Ladies' Qualifier in the history of the tournament and will play alongside Lisa Ashton who made her debut in 2019.
This saw the return of Ladies' Qualifier with 'The Lancashire Rose' competing alongside Anastasia Dobromyslova in good showings against Jan Dekker and Ryan Joyce.
Dobromyslova herself was the second to play in the event previously being part of the line-up in 2009 with Gayl King the first all the way back in 2001.
Going onto this past year, it saw the first female winner with Fallon Sherrock winning two games and making history as a result, alongside Mikuru Suzuki who came very close to completing the feat before 'The Queen of the Palace' against James Richardson.
