Deta Hedman won the second event of the PDC Women's Series on Saturday evening after seeing off Aileen de Graaf in a leg-decider.
The 60-year-old defeated the likes of Anastasia Dobromyslova (4-2) and Fallon Sherrock (5-1) to book her place in the final. De Graaf beat Lorraine Winstanley in the semi-finals, before she took a 5-3 lead in the final. However Hedman won three legs on the spin to take the title.
Top favourite Lisa Ashton lost earlier in the last 32 against Corrine Hammond, who lost to Vicky Pruim in the Last 16. Ashton became the winner of the first PDC Women's Series event on Saturday.
This two-day event consists of four tournaments. Players can earn prize money with their results, which count towards the Women's Series Order of Merit. The top two ladies after four events receive an invite for the PDC World Darts Championship.
