Damon Heta won the 26th
Players Championship of the year in Barnsley on Friday. The 35-year-old Australian beat Dirk van Duijvenbode 8-4 in the final.

In the quarter-final against Matt Campbell, for instance, he hit three out of six times on double sixteen. In the semi-final against Gerwyn Price, he threw only once at double sixteen and so was 100%. In the final, he hit two out of three against Dirk van Duijvenbode.
