Josh Rock failed to win the seventeenth
Players Championship on Saturday. In the final, the Northern Irishman went down 8-5 against Gerwyn Price.
Still, Rock had a little reason to celebrate. During his 6-1 victory at the last 32 against Ryan Joyce, the 22-year-old darter posted an average of 112.35. No one did better at Players Championship 17.
In second place we find Price with 105.35, the top three is completed by James Wade with 105.12.
Others in the top ten included Rob Cross (104.86), Cameron Menzies (102.21), Gian van Veen (102.02) and Ricardo Pietreczko (102.02). Players will have one more chance to hit the huge averages and win a title, with Players Championship 18 taking place on Sunday.
