Highest ever German Darts Championship averages including two of the best ever on European Tour

The tenth edition of the German Darts Championship is set to take place this weekend between 11-13 March. This event has seen quite a few high averages in the past, including the two highest averages ever thrown on the European Tour.
That record is now held by Dave Chisnall. He recorded an average of 118.66 during the German Darts Championship 2018. Three years earlier, Michael van Gerwen had set a record with an average of 117.94.
Van Gerwen's name appears more often on the list. The Dutchman also threw averages of 111.93, 111.51 and 109.98 (twice) during the German Darts Championship. Peter Wright is the third player to break the 110 mark in Hildesheim. In 2016, Wright averaged 113.77.

- Pathetic. The media attention she would receive at the PDC alone would more than compensate her for the quiet WDF comp. And if she wins a match, which she is more than capable of doing, the attention would go through the roof.
