Kim Huybrechts produced a roof raising 134 checkout to dump out Michael van Gerwen on home soil and keep his hopes alive of sealing the Belgian Darts Open in Wieze.
Huybrechts opened up a 4-1 lead against Van Gerwen with a 121 checkout but Van Gerwen as ever fired back but missed seven darts at a double to send the game into a decider where Huybrechts was way back on 335 but somehow got a shot at 134.
He took his chance with two double 20's on a 134 checkout to claim it and send the crowd into raptures.
"This is the biggest win so far of my career," he said. "I've played in the Premier League and I beat Michael in the Grand Slam of Darts, but that's the most amazing crowd I've ever experienced.
"To win with a finish like that is something I'll always remember. I was already focusing on the next leg - I was thinking it was going to be five-five. He missed, I'm on 134 and I'm thinking "maybe" and then boom!"
