Rob Cross begins his
Players Championship Finals campaign in Minehead on Friday afternoon. The 33-year-old Englishman will face Cameron Menzies in the first round.
Cross made the final in Minehead last year and hopes to make it far again. ''I'm playing great at the minute, and we go again," Cross tells the PDC's official website. "I am in a really good place at the moment. My mentality is very clear and if that carries on, then I will get better, no doubt."
NEW: Go to our LIVE SCORE to follow the Players Championship Finals 2023!! Last week, Cross also reached the final at the Grand Slam of Darts before falling to Luke Humphries. After losing three major finals in a row, is it time for the former world champion to add another major title to his record?
"I have gained a lot of confidence from the Grand Slam, so I'm going to get my head down and keep moving forwards. We have two more titles to play for [this year], and I believe I will lift one of them."
