Sweden made an excellent start to their 2024
World Cup of Darts campaign.
Jeffrey de Graaf and Oskar Lukasiak made quick work of Spain in the first group match, winning 4-0.
De Graaf and Lukasiak achieved a combined average of over 98, compared to the 83 of Jose Justicia and Jesus Noguera. "We cant complain," De Graaf laughs afterwards in conversation with
Online Darts. "We know that we can play some really good darts together and we want to show everyone," adds Lukasiak.

Sweden reached the quarter-finals last year with Dennis Nilsson and Lukasiak. "I don't think I can give him any advice," Lukasiak says when asked how De Graaf was faring on debut. "I do feel extra pressure. Especially because I'm not originally from Sweden," Dutch born De Graaf adds.
"It is extra pressure but it's also a big honour, especially next to someone who's been doing it for a decade almost," De Graaf continues. "I feel good and we have a good team. I mostly just don't want to disappoint the Swedish people. But I'm playing good darts recently and as long as I play my game, it'll be alright."
