"I think I played better than him" - Disappointment for Gerwyn Price in World Grand Prix final vs Luke Humphries

Gerwyn Price has lost in the final of the World Grand Prix for the second time in his career. 'The Iceman' went down 5-2 in the final against Luke Humphries.

"I'm absolutely gutted," Price admitted post-match. "I didn't help myself early on. Luke played fantastic and he's a worthy winner. I think I played better than him tonight, he just played really well at the right times," said the 38-year-old Welshman.

"Fair play to Luke, he deserves the win," continues Price, who has actually lost not only the final but his place in the world's top 4 to 'Cool Hand Luke' in a double blow of disappointment.

"I'm hugely disappointed," Price concludes. "It wasn't easy either with much of the crowd against me again. If only we could play some of these big matches in Wales. But anyway, it's no different."
