Jeffrey Sparidaans is a PDC Tour Card Holder and will join the Dutch contingent in a few weeks for the first time on the ProTour after winning through European
Q-School on Day One.
Sparidaans took down Ronny Huybrechts who looks to have almost done enough himself to win it at least on points and after a difficult day, he was overjoyed.
"It feels really good and it was a really hard day today (Thursday). After the first match, it was not easy. We have really hard players here to take a Tour Card but I did it finally," said Sparidaans to PDC.
It was nervy early on in the final and he was relieved to finally get the doubles at the right time to defeat 'The Rebel'.
"He's a good player and I missed a lot of doubles but finally I get them to beat him."
Asked what the future holds in terms of his commitment to the tour, he said he will play in everything as he looks to take on his darting dream.
"I will go to every tournament, but I will see what the next two years (hold). It's a dream come true and we will see."
