Final Stage 2023 PDC European Q-School Order of Merit after Day One as Huybrechts in pole position for PDC ProTour return

The final stage of the European Q-School is scheduled from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 January. During this four-day event, players can earn Tour Cards for the PDC circuit. This can be done by winning one of the four tournaments or via the Q-School Order of Merit.

This ranking is a lifeline for players who came up just short of a day's win, but have had consistently good results over four days. The top ten players on this ranking list after four days of play will also receive a PDC Tour Card for the 2023-24 seasons. This is one more than UK due to entry numbers.

After losing in the final of the opening tournament, Ronny Huybrechts is in pole position for a return to the PDC Tour after trying since 2019. He sits on five points with only one point likely needed.

Jacques Labre and Niels Zonneveld similarly will need another good run to book their spots but like Huybrechts will look to dispel doubt and seal it outright. This will then open up more spots for players further down.

Currently the Order of Merit is rounded out by Richard Veenstra and Marcel Hausotter with three well known names in Andy Baetens, Max Hopp and Franz Roetszch also in line in 11th, 12th and 13th.

This of course can all still change given that it is only day one but for the likes of Jeffrey de Zwaan, Jelle Klaasen, Gian van Veen, Benito van de Pas and Toni Alcinas, they have all added points so will look to build on that instead of facing an uphill battle to get points on the board.

Corey Cadby for example is among the players on zero points alongside Chris Landman, Sebastian Bialecki, Gino Vos, Berry van Peer, Lukas Wenig and Karel Sedlacek.
