The Sportsman Management Company (TSMC) have announced the signing of 17-year-old prospect, James Beeton to a long term deal.
Ran by Mac Elkin, it is a stable which already includes the likes of Glen Durrant, Dimitri van den Bergh, Jose de Sousa and James Wade among others.
It was actually Durrant who recommended the signing of Beeton who has played on the Development Tour before and has hit a nine-dart finish on the secondary tour.
“I’m really made up that we have sorted a deal so quickly I just can’t wait to get started, I really admire the players in this team and now I’m part of it, what a feeling," said Beeton.
“Players of James’s calibre don’t come around very often, he’s only 17 yet he’s achieved quite a lot, along with the other youngsters in our team he is the future and I believe we can help him achieve his dreams," said Elkin on the announcement.
