Jenkins ends Nicholson's unbeaten run and claims consecutive victories to begin Icons of Darts League Group Two

Nicholson started his day well by extending his unbeaten run to five matches with victory over Diogo Portela but that ended in his next tie with 'Rocky' edging past 'The Asset' in a 5-4 win which saw a 94.7 average en route.

For Jenkins, he made it back to back wins from there seeing off Arron Monk in a 5-2 victory with a high checkout of 144 en route as he looks to claim his first group win in his three weeks in the competition which have seen him showcase consistent form throughout.

Arron Monk before that had opened up his group campaign this week with victory seeing off James Hubbard in a 5-3 victory which saw him hit a 96.8 average and four 180's in a battle of the former World Youth Champions as he aims to follow up a great debut last time out.

The Icons of Darts League is a competition that runs on 24 different days from Monday April 6 through to Saturday May 2. Each playing week consists of six players. There are five players on each matchday with one player taking a rest.

Each day consists of four matches for each player with the player with the most wins claiming the group win for that day.
