Joe Cullen won an exhibition tournament in Scarborough, England, on Friday night. 'The Rockstar' conceded just two legs against many former champions.
Cullen defeated Robert Thornton 4-2 to qualify for the final. In the other semifinal, Phil Taylor settled with Wayne Mardle (4-3). Then in the final, Cullen was too strong for Taylor, 4-0.
Many world top players play exhibitions during this period. Not primarily for a nice extra pocket money, but also to keep up match rhythm ahead of the World Darts Championship.

- I completely agree with Vincent's comments on "whistlegate". It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd. No whistling during throws, and something like: whistlers evicted and fined a hefty sum.
