The fourteenth tournament of the 2024 Pro Tour is almost at a close. In the final showdown, with the title on the line at Players Championship 14, Jonny Clayton will take on Wesley Plaisier.
Having already dispatched Dom Taylor (6-2) and Martin Schindler (6-4) among others, the Ferret was tasked with overcoming the challenge of Cameron Menzies in the semi-final. Averaging 99.89, Clayton was an impressive 7-3 winner over the Scot.
In the final, the Welsh former Premier League Darts winner will face off against Wesley Plaisier. Despite not having a PDC Tour Card, this is the second final in as many day for the Dutchman. Having moved past Mario Vandenbogaerde (6-4) and Graham Usher (6-2) among others to reach the semifinals, Plaisier saw off Ryan Joyce 7-4, averaging 93.28 to book his place in the final.
A total of 125,000 pounds in prize money is distributed at each Players Championship tournament. The winner of the event will receive a check for 15,000 pounds.

How to watch
On Tuesday, July 2nd and Wednesday, July 3rd, the next two Players Championship tournaments of the 2024 Pro Tour will be played at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes. Players Championship 13 and 14 will be broadcast by the PDC via live stream.
All matches of the four stream boards will be broadcast live via PDCTV. To do so, you need to create an account and purchase a subscription. There is a monthly subscription (£9.99) and annual subscription (£59.99) available. It is also possible to take out a two-day subscription for £3.99.
