Wright hits 106 average in White win, Joyce eases past Suzuki

Peter Wright and Ryan Joyce have their first points on the board at this year's Grand Slam of Darts after victories over Ian White and Mikuru Suzuki.

Joyce claimed a comfortable victory over Suzuki who nearly stunned Gerwyn Price last night seeing off 'The Miracle' 5-1 to keep his hopes alive in the group and also eliminate Suzuki going into the all Welsh clash between Jonny Clayton and Gerwyn Price later tonight.

While for Wright despite changing his darts multiple times, he once more stumbled across a winning combination to get himself over the line against Ian White.

He won through narrowly with an 11-darter to claim it 5-3 with a 106.8 average to also keep his hopes firmly alive after defeat to Dirk van Duijvenbode last night.
