Corey Cadby was known as one of the best rising talents in the PDC and was heralded as a future World Champion but despite returning to the UK in March last year after visa problems, by the end of it he had to relinquish his Tour Card.
Cadby announced his intention to return and apologised for his behaviour in a
recent interview. Former World Matchplay champion,
Colin Lloyd has weighed in on the Australian; he is looking forward to his return after admitting he didn't seize his chance the first time.
"I think the words that we're all searching for, and I'm going to go ahead and say it - he's grown up," said Lloyd, speaking on
The Darts Show podcast.
"And he had to grow up. He had the chance of a lifetime, and hopefully he hasn't blown it although he has so far. We can all see that he was very talented; he didn't fear anyone, and he just went up on that dartboard and just pulverised it.
"It would be great to see him back a little bit more mature, and hopefully go up and there and see what he's really made of."
"Hopefully he comes back and comes back stronger. And he can be somebody that throws the cat amongst the pigeons."
