Luke Humphries sails past Gerwyn Price and is first finalist in Munich

Luke Humphries has become the first player to secure a spot in the final match of the German Darts Grand Prix. In the first semifinal, "Cool Hand Luke" won 7-3 over Gerwyn Price.

Humphries soon retook the initiative by breaking Price in the second leg with a 25 finish, then he made it 3-0 with a 52 finish. It wasn't until the fourth leg that Price got on the scoreboard via an 11-darter.

After Humphries failed to make it 4-1, Price cut the deficit to 2-3 with a 17-darter. Humphries then doubled the lead again with a 12-darter before Price missed three chances to make it 3-4. Humphries made it 5-2 with an 18-darter and then notched a 14-darter for 6-2. Price then picked up one more leg before Humphries sealed the match with an 11-darter.
