Fresh junior world champion Luke Littler has struck again. 'The Nuke' became PDC youth world champion Sunday night and flew directly to Gibraltar on Monday morning, where the Gibraltar Open was scheduled for Tuesday.
There, the 16-year-old Englishman once again showed his top form. Littler managed to win the men's tournament after victories over Max Hopp, Dyson Parody, Jenson Walker and Andy Boulton. Because of his young age, the English mega-talent was also allowed to compete in the youth tournament and that event was also won by Littler.
In December, Littler will make his debut at the World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace. He will meet Dutchman Christian Kist in the first round. If he wins, he will face Andrew Gilding in the second round.
