Luke Littler rises two spots in PDC Order of Merit without playing after latest update

Luke Humphries has further cemented his leading position on the PDC Order of Merit by winning the German Darts Grand Prix. 'Cool Hand Luke' pocketed the £30,000 top prize by beating Michael van Gerwen in the final of the Euro Tour tournament in Munich.

Humphries, meanwhile, has nearly half a million lead over Van Gerwen in the Order of Merit now. That only looks set to increase this season, as the Englishman has relatively little prize money to defend in 2024. Dimitri van den Bergh and Jonny Clayton managed to move up one spot at the expense of Damon Heta. The Australian is now narrowly outside the top-10. Ross Smith retook the 16th spot from Stephen Bunting, while Josh Rock now holds the 20th spot at the expense of James Wade.

Luke Littler was not in action at the German Darts Grand Prix over the Easter weekend, but still moved up two spots in the world rankings. 'The Nuke' passed Brendan Dolan and Jose de Sousa and is now ranked No. 26 in the world. This rise is because unlike Dolan and De Sousa, Littler did not have to defend any prize money, as the teenage sensation did not play any tournaments on the PDC circuit two years ago.

There is also a milestone for Ricardo Pietreczko, who is now in the top-32 of the PDC Order of Merit for the first time. The German passed Kim Huybrechts and Martin Lukeman. Gian van Veen passed Mike de Decker and is now 39th in the world rankings. Richard Veenstra made his first appearance in the top-64 of the PDC Order of Merit. 'Flyers' passed darts veterans Ian White and Mervyn King.
