Christopher Kempf, in charge of all kinds of data and statistics at the PDC, has brought out a new alternative world ranking.
Kempf takes into account only the last 200 legs played by each Tour Card holder for this alternative world ranking.
Luke Littler currently ranks first in that alternative world ranking. 'The Nuke,' who recently won the Premier League Darts and make it to the semi-finals of the US Darts Masters in New York City, averaged 99.51 during his last 200 legs, with 43.44% on his doubles. In the official world rankings, the 17-year-old Englishman is currently ranked 25th although he is rising with almost every tournament that takes place at the moment.
Whereas on the official world rankings we see
Luke Humphries in first place, on this alternative world ranking we find the current world champion only in second place. 'Cool Hand Luke,' who was a losing finalist in the past Premier League final, averaged 99.26 in his last 200 legs and 43.27% on his doubles.

The top three is completed by
Gerwyn Price with an average of 98.99 and 42.20% on his doubles. In the official world rankings, 'The Iceman' is currently ranked fourth in the PDC Order of Merit and last weekend reached the final of the US Darts Masters before losing out to
Rob Cross. Voltage himself meanwhile, sits 5th in this form guide, behind
Martin Schindler in 4th and ahead of 6th placed
Chris Dobey.
In the top ten we also find one Dutchman with
Michael van Gerwen. 'Mighty Mike', who is currently second in the official world rankings, can only be found in seventh place in these alternative world rankings with an average of 97.42 and 40.62¨% on his doubles. The top 10 of the most in form PDC players is then completed by
Nathan Aspinall,
Gary Anderson and
Stephen Bunting.
