Nigel Pearson suddenly passed away last Friday and after losing the legendary commentator, Wayne Mardle and Mark Webster alongside Emma Paton paid tribute to not only a 'World Class operator' but a good friend.

"He was just a World Class operator, a World Class broadcaster. It didn't matter what the sport whether that be football, speedway or darts. You were getting the consummate professional," said Mardle on Sky Sports.
"I won't just miss that side, it's also the side when we're two pints deep after a broadcast putting the world to rights. My thoughts go out to his family of course, they are at the forefront of my mind that's for sure."
Webster also paid a similar tribute reiterating the words of Mardle that the family comes first at this time.
"He was just a great guy, we will all miss him. It just doesn't seem right that he's not here with us and won't be with us again. But like Wayne said the family are at the forefront of all our thoughts," said Webster.
