Marsh claimed four wins and one defeat which put him on eight points over the course of the day. His only blemish on his record came during a 5-3 defeat to David Evans.

He began the day with a 5-1 win over James Hubbard with a 92 average and 5/7 on his doubles and despite then losing out to Evans, he hit a 93 average in seeing off Paul Nicholson 5-2.

He followed that up with a third win of the day in seeing off Fallon Sherrock as he kept up the hunt for top spot. From there, he produced a whitewash win over Adams with a 96 average to conclude his series.

Adams despite losing out on winning the title produced the performance of the day from there smashing in a 111 average and four 180's defeating Fallon Sherrock 5-1.

There will be 15 games a day which will be best of 7 legs with two Pools set to be involved as usual. It begins everyday as a result at 10:30 am running till 5:00 pm and sees live action continue.
