Murnan dumps out Van den Bergh, Heta seals narrow win over Mansell

The second round has begun at the European Darts Grand Prix with mixed fortunes for seeded players so far in Stuttgart with Damon Heta and Joe Murnan through to the final day.

Heta was first up and saw off Mickey Mansell 6-5 in a narrow win for 'The Heat' who will aim to replicate his form he has shown so far this year in this tournament.

In doing so, the Aussie ace produced six 180's and a 96.3 average to reach the Last 16 and he was joined there by Murnan who saw off Dimitri van den Bergh 6-5

In winning through, he sealed a first win over the Belgian for seven years punishing 12 missed darts at double and three visits without a treble in the decider to claim a shock win and continue where he left off against Lukas Wenig yesterday.
