Netherlands throws highest team and individual average at 2024 World Cup of Darts

The Netherlands threw the highest team and individual average at the 2024 World Cup of Darts. Michael van Gerwen and Danny Noppert did not gain much, as they were eliminated in their first match.

Van Gerwen and Noppert were unlucky to have faced a rock-solid Belgium in the second round. The Netherlands threw a team average of 100.96 in that match, while Noppert had an individual average of 106.89 in that match. Since the Netherlands played only one match, those were also their tournament averages.

England played a total of four games and had a team average of 95.74 over the entire tournament. Wales (91.69), Croatia (90.91), Ireland (90.45) and New Zealand (90.35) are the other countries that had a team average above 90 over the entire tournament.

Luke Humphries was by far the best darter on the doubles during the World Cup of Darts. No less than 58.8 percent of his darts on the double were hit. Gary Anderson achieved a finishing percentage of 50 percent, while Jeffrey de Graaf had a finishing percentage of 47.6 percent.

Mensur Suljovic threw the most 180 scores during the tournament. 'The Gentle' managed to throw the highest possible score eleven times in total. Dimitri van den Bergh, with ten 180 scores, was the only other player to reach double digits in this statistic.
