José de Sousa will represent Portugal this season at the World Cup of Darts in Frankfurt (16-19 June) together with Vitor Jerónimo.
Portugal debuted at the World Cup of Darts in 2020 and managed to reach the second round of the tournament during the two previous editions.
De Sousa then played each time with Jose Marques. This year a qualifying tournament was played to determine who could represent Portugal together with De Sousa. Jerónimo won that qualification tournament, with Marques missing out on playing at all.
