Nicholson eases past Cole, Jenkins edges past Collins with clinical 142 checkout

Nicholson was facing off against Jarred Cole who had a debut to forget in facing off against 'The Asset'. The former Players Championship Finals winner hit a 90 average en route to a 5-1 victory against Cole who only averaged 74.3 in defeat.

For Jenkins, he saw off Robert Collins in a clinical 5-3 victory. This featured a high checkout of 142 from 'Rocky' who overall hit 55 percent on his doubles compared to only 17 percent from his opponent which held the key to him getting the points on the board.

The Icons of Darts League is a competition that runs on 24 different days from Monday April 6 through to Saturday May 2. Each playing week consists of six players. There are five players on each matchday with one player taking a rest.

Each day consists of four matches for each player with the player with the most wins claiming the group win for that day.
