Paul Nicholson has revealed that his first operation on his elbow went successfully and that his recovery is going well as the former major champion takes the first steps on the road to a potential playing return.
Nicholson has been duly noted with suffering with injuries for some time with 'The Asset' as a result seeking surgery on his elbow. He took to Twitter to reveal details of this process.
He said that next will be a second consultation followed by reconstructive elbow surgery potentially after that.
Similar to Mark Webster, Nicholson since falling off the tour has carved out a successful darting media career and decided against playing Q-School this time around but will we see him return next year if all goes well?
