PDC European Tour Order of Merit: Josh Rock and Michael van Gerwen among risers in top 10

Josh Rock moved into the top five on the PDC European Tour Order of Merit after surprisingly winning the Dutch Darts Championship last weekend.
Rock was too strong for Jonny Clayton in the final of the Euro Tour tournament in Rosmalen and collected the top prize of 30,000 pounds. It earned him a rise from seventeenth place to fifth. 'Rocky' only has to surpass Luke Littler, Rob Cross, Luke Humphries and Martin Schindler. By the way, the first three players were absent from Rosmalen last weekend.
Behind Rock, Michael van Gerwen is the new number six on the PDC European Tour Order of Merit. The 35-year-old went down 7-6 against Clayton in front of his own crowd in the semifinals after squandering a 4-0 lead. Ryan Searle and Jonny Clayton also emerge into the top 15 after their runs this weekend sitting in 12th and 13th. Ritchie Edhouse, Joe Cullen and Chris Dobey technically conclude the top 15.
At the end of the season, the 32 best players in the rankings will compete in the European Championship in Dortmund. This tournament is scheduled from Oct. 24 to 27.

- I completely agree with Vincent's comments on "whistlegate". It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd. No whistling during throws, and something like: whistlers evicted and fined a hefty sum.
