The outbreak of the coronavirus keeps continuing, this also effects the darting world. The start of the PDC Asian Tour was postponed until the end of April.

For now, the PDC has no plans to postpone or cancel tournaments themselves. However, they have issued a statement with a number of recommendations for the Coronavirus epidemic.

For example, fans are called upon to regularly wash their hands with soap. It is also advised against contact with sick people, coughing without covering the mouth and touching things that are often touched such as lift buttons and handrails.

Players also have permission not to shake hands with officials as well as their opponents. Fans are also warned that players may pose less for photos and hand out signatures to avoid physical contact with fans for fear of contamination.
