Price has plan to win support from Dutch fans in Rotterdam: ''Hopefully it will go down well with the Dutch fans''

The Premier League Darts will visit Ahoy Rotterdam on Thursday night. Besides Dutch crowd favourite Michael van Gerwen, former world champion Gerwyn Price is also one of the players who comes into action during night 12 of the Premier League.

Price was reviled by the darts public for years, but this year the situation seems to have tilted for 'The Iceman'. In recent months, the Welshman has been heavily encouraged by darts fans, something fellow dartist Van Gerwen also noticed.

Price also hopes to count on support from Dutch fans on Thursday. The former rugby player has come up with something for this. ''I'll be wearing a special orange shirt which hopefully will go down well with the Dutch fans'', he told the PDC.

The world number four can secure qualification for the Premier League Darts play-offs on Thursday night. ''I still feel like I need a couple more points, so the job isn’t done yet. There’s five weeks to go and I’m fully focused. I'm looking forward to Rotterdam now.''
