Gerwyn Price played brilliantly on the opening night of action at the World Series of Darts Finals in Amsterdam dispatching Michael Smith in a 6-3 win.
Price spoke afterwards and admitted that he enjoys playing Smith and after before him being his bogey player of sorts, he feels confident playing him.
On facing off against Michael van Gerwen next, 'The Iceman' said that he will just go out and enjoy himself against Mighty Mike and try to win.
“Michael (Smith) used to be a bit of a bogey player for me but I do like playing him. He is quick and doesn’t mess about and now I feel confident playing against him.
“After last week I’ve just decided to go out and try and enjoy myself and I’ll be doing that against MVG tomorrow. It’s not the end of the world if I lose and I’ve had some great games against him and I’m going to give my all tomorrow night.”
