''He just gives everything and doesn't care about anything else'' - Price sees resemblance between himself and Littler

With joint participations in the World Series tournaments and the first nights of the Premier League Darts, Gerwyn Price has already had a few opportunities to get to know Luke Littler better this year.

Meanwhile, Price has had the opportunity to observe Littler's mannerisms in the practice room and noted how the 17-year-old teenage sensation approaches the game with a refreshing sense of freedom.

"He's young, he's 17, he's got no scars yet and he's just playing with a bit of freedom," Price told SportsBoom.com. "He just keeps on going out there playing darts like he has before. He doesn’t feel any pressure on his shoulders, and just relishes it."

Also, the former world champion sees some similarities between himself and the World Championship runner-up. "When I see him in and around the practice room and the way he approaches everything... That's the way I was in the beginning, and I think that's perfect for him," Price stated. "He just gives everything on the dartboard and doesn’t care about anything else."

Meanwhile, the ranking season has started and the schedule immediately becomes a lot fuller for 'The Nuke'. However, Price thinks Littler can handle that perfectly. "It’s not going to bother him at all." Yet, as the demands of the tour increase, Littler may face newfound pressures and expectations'', Price added.
