Krzysztof Ratajski is through to the second round at the World Matchplay after seeing off Jermaine Wattimena 10-4 in an impressive display which saw a 107 average from 'The Polish Eagle'.
An early benchmark and a warning shot to Rob Cross or Gabriel Clemens who await. As a result, Ratajski was understandably pleased with opening up his campaign with such a brilliant display.
"I am over the moon with this win," said Ratajski. "It was a really good match for me and the average is super.
In addition, he admitted that the Summer Series was perfect preparation for this week after so long without any tournaments.
"I tried to be focused on every dart and the Summer Series helped me to prepare for this; because we hadn't played for so long - three months without tournaments."
