Referee Bray back to work after absence: "I had my left hip replaced"

Russ Bray is back to work at the World Grand Prix this week after the well-known referee had to miss the past few tournaments due to hip surgery.

Bray, who is well known as 'The Voice' discussed this to RTL7 and the toll it took beforehand.

"I had my left hip replaced. The last two years the pain was unbearable, I took thirty painkillers daily."

The 64-year-old Englishman is therefore relieved that the operation is over. "I can hardly put into words how much better I feel now, it's great to be able to go through life pain-free again. Not only do I feel better physically, also mentally, the influence of those painkillers cannot be underestimated either. ."
