Rydz admitted in his post match interview that one leg changed everything for him and he went off after being a bag of nerves to believing.
He also wants to shun the 'countback king' image that he has garnered at times due to his close shaves with gaining a Tour Card in the past and he believes now he will go on the tour full time that he can impress.
"I'm absolutely buzzing. After the first set I was a bag of nerves, went off stage and came back up and as soon as I won one leg, everything went back to normal," said Rydz to LiveDarts.
"With Q-School I know I'm called countback king now. I don't like getting called that but I'm there to prove people wrong. As soon as I get my card, I think I'll do well."
"I practice with Chris Dobey because I live 100 yards from him so it's not too bad for me. It's amazing, they're always there when I'm down."
