Schedule and preview Thursday evening session 2021/22 PDC World Darts Championship including Anderson-Cross

Three top tungsten ties take place on Thursday evening as the fourth round concludes at the 2021/22 PDC World Darts Championship.

James Wade who many see as being a dark horse to reach the final due to his side of the draw now being wide open will face a player looking to continue his dream Ally Pally run in Martijn Kleermaker.

Peter Wright will be one to watch in terms of what darts he will be using. Will it be the Simon Whitlock-esque barrels or has he learnt his lesson and will come onto stage with his Gold Elements.

A guessing game similar to what shirt and trouser combo he will wear on his walk on, he will be royally punished if wrong as Ryan Searle is his next opponent.

'Heavy Metal' saw off Danny Noppert in his last round and faced Wright in his maiden major final going down in a closely fought affair.

While in between those two ties comes the match of the evening as two former World Champions collide.

Gary Anderson, a two-time winner facing Rob Cross who is playing in the sort of form to add a second crown. Similar to Wright, Anderson's darts have been a major topic of conversation and the Scot as usual hasn't been pleased with his displays.

But he faces 'Voltage' who has been in some incredible form and may go into an intriguing tie as favourite.

Evening Session (1900 GMT)

Fourth Round (3x)

James Wade v Martijn Kleermaker

Gary Anderson v Rob Cross

Peter Wright v Ryan Searle
